Pre School sessions

Where: Brightlingsea Beach, Outside the Sailing club, (Oyster Tank Road, CO7 0DY)

Who: Pre School sessions are for confident walkers - 5 year olds.

What: The sessions usually have between 4 and 6 activities set up and children and their parents can chose what they would like to do during the sessions. We always have at least 2 science experiments the children can do.

Each week we have a theme which the activities are set around (wind, tides, animals, seasonal changes etc).

We usually end the session with a snack, drink and a story.

What to bring: wellies for adult and child, waterproofs, old clothes (that you don't mind getting a little wet, sandy and/or muddy), an appropriate seasonal hat, a change of clothes, 1 more layer than you think!

School Sessions

Juliette works to engage children through practical learning. Playing, exploring and asking questions. Children are encouraged to take part but I can also be flexible and adapt sessions for those who need more support.

I offer the following options:

5x 1.5-2 hr sessions, depending on what fits best with your school timetable.

x3 full day trips across the year 

x1 full day beach excursion and 2 follow up workshops in school

Home School Sessions

The ethos of Beach School meshes perfectly with many home school pedagogies.

Juliette is happy to provide tailored sessions, ranging from one off, seasonal or weekly for home school groups upon request.

Adult sessions

Juliette has worked with a full range of adults including vulnerable young people, young adults with mental health issues, OAP groups and more.
